Camping and amenities

At Mousetail there are 24 campsites available; some offer partial to full shade, while others are in the beautiful sunshine during the day. All of the campsites are equipped with a picnic table and a grill. For RV enthusiasts, there is electricity and water hook-ups available at 19 of the 24 campsites. If camping is your family's idea of great, outdoor fun, Mousetail Landing is definitely worth looking into.

Fishing and boating

At Mousetail Landing there is an outdoor activity available to fit the bill. If you can get to the water, you can fish it. Bass, crappie, catfish, stripes and breem are just a few of the species that live in these waters. A license is required for every person in your group; contact the Bureau of Land Management for pricing and limit information. Boating is allowed with some restrictions within certain areas, and all restrictions are clearly marked and posted.

Land lovers

If adventure on solid ground is what you prefer, then there are miles and miles of hiking trails. Whether you are a novice, short-trail hiker or an experienced veteran of the hiking trails, there is a trail for you at Mousetrail. All trails are clearly marked with a difficulty level, so you hike the appropriate trail according to your skill level.
